Sharon Chan

Sharon Pian Chan is Vice President of Innovation, Product & Development at The Seattle Times. She leads the product development team, the business intelligence team and community funding for public-service journalism. Chan previously served as a deputy managing editor and opinion editor at The Seattle Times but spent most of her career as a reporter, covering beats ranging from City Hall to Microsoft. She received her B.A. from Pomona College and her Executive M.B.A. from MIT in 2017. She has also served as national president of the Asian American Journalists Association.
