Megha Satyanarayana is a science reporter at C&EN with a background in biomedical science and more than 10 years of experience as a journalist. She’s covered everything from suburban crime to science and technology, and was previously the engagement editor at STAT in Boston. She is a Tufts University graduate, with a doctorate in molecular biology. She studied science writing at UC Santa Cruz, and has been a Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan in 2013-2014, exploring digital media and the politics and psychology of the anti-GMO movement.
