Alex is a producer and media consultant, working in New York to build, grow and monetize media projects across podcasts, documentary film, online and email newsletters. She is the producer and co-host of a podcast about the upcoming midterm elections, WTH, America?; writer of a newsletter on US politics, OverHere; founder of A Civil Divide, a conversation-first media company; and director of marketing and business development for award-winning independent podcast, Out There. She has also worked as a business consultant with media organizations, from ProPublica through to daily newsletter startup, Daily Pnut. Born in Sydney, Australia, Alex was formerly a senior Mergers & Acquisitions attorney at a major international law firm.
