Digital media unionization has gone from afterthought to Twitter cause célèbre as campaigners have overcome political headwinds to successfully organize some of the most important newsrooms in the country on a message of transparency and solidarity. We’ll discuss the ongoing challenges of unionization, and the surreal aspect of media employees organizing in the public sphere.
