Pam Fine is the Knight Chair for News, Leadership and Community at the University of Kansas School of Journalism. She teaches reporting, ethics, leadership and other journalism classes and works with news organizations and industry groups on projects to improve news coverage and transform journalistic practices. This semester, Fine is consulting on the Knight-Lenfest News Initiative aka “Table Stakes.” She is a former managing editor of the Indianapolis Star and the Star Tribune in Minneapolis, and an AME at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
