Ayan is the editor of The Texas Tribune, a nonprofit nonpartisan media organization that focuses on public policy, politics, government and statewide issues in Texas. During Ayan’s six years at the Tribune, the organization has won a Peabody Award and multiple Online News Association and Edward R. Murrow awards. Before joining the Tribune, Ayan worked 11 years for The Dallas Morning News.
