Anusha Alikhan is the director of communications for Knight Foundation. She is a strategic communications professional with a diverse background in the nonprofit sector, as well as journalism and law. She works across the foundation's focus areas - journalism, communities, arts, learning - as a thought partner and strategy developer. Previously, she served as communications officer with the United Nations contributing to global peacekeeping initiatives. Before that, she practiced employment law in her hometown of Toronto, Canada. She loves great storytelling and is always exploring new ways to highlight Knight's work and the work of its grantees in dynamic and compelling ways.
