Sasha Koren is a digitally focused editor with a strong interest in both reader-centric product development and reader engagement. Until April 2018, she was the editor and co-lead of the Guardian US Mobile Innovation Lab. a small multidisciplinary team dedicated to producing stories in mobile-specific formats, finding out what resonated with audiences, and sharing the results. Prior to her time at The Guardian, Sasha spent over a decade at The New York Times where she built and led teams focused on social media, community, and incorporating readers’ voices into stories, and earlier, led digital innovation on features and within its editorial department.
