She is a strategic communications professional with a diverse background in the nonprofit sector, as well as journalism and law. She works across the foundation&#8217;s focus areas &#8211; journalism, communities, arts, learning &#8211; as a thought partner and strategy developer. Previously, she served as communications officer with the United Nations contributing to global peacekeeping initiatives. Before that, she practiced employment law in her hometown of Toronto, Canada.
