While there are rainy days ahead in Austin, the city is not in the hurricane\u2019s path \u2014 thus, <b>ONA18 will happen as scheduled<\/b>. We do, however, expect severe weather to affect a number of ONA18 attendees with travel plans over the next couple days.<\/p>\n<p>This post outlines your options if you might be affected by Hurricane Florence. We\u2019re also reaching out directly to attendees, guest speakers and partners traveling from the impacted areas identified by the National Hurricane Center.<\/p>\n<h3>Registration<\/h3>\n<p>If your travel is impacted by the hurricane and you can\u2019t make it to the conference, <a href=\"https:\/\/fs8.formsite.com\/iwwashington\/form134\/index.html?1536706046971\">complete the refund request form<\/a>. We\u2019ll provide deferrals to next year\u2019s conference and refunds to those <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhc.noaa.gov\/refresh\/graphics_at1+shtml\/212435.shtml?cone#contents\">directly impacted by the storm<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Flights<\/h3>\n<p>Please check with your airline or travel agent for relevant flight updates, and your options for cancellations or changes to your itinerary.<\/p>\n<h3>Hotel<\/h3>\n<p>The JW Marriott understands there are unforeseen events that can affect guests\u2019 ability to make it to ONA18. The hotel will handle cancellation issues on a case-by-case basis. If you need to modify your plans, please contact the front desk immediately at 512-474-4777.<\/p>\n<p>The ONA team will continue to proactively monitor weather conditions and updates from the National Hurricane Center throughout the week. We\u2019ll work as quickly as we can to respond to your needs.
