Now in its fifth year, the HBCU Digital Media Fellowship is an exciting opportunity for five students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) to receive an expenses-paid trip to ONA18 and get hands-on reporting experience during the conference.<\/p>\n
Fellows are embedded in the ONA18 Student Newsroom and Innovation Lab and work closely with mentors Michael Grant<\/strong>, Creative Director, San Francisco Business Times and 2017-18 John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford University, and Michelle Johnson<\/strong>, chair of the Student Newsroom and Associate Professor of Practice, Multimedia Journalism, at Boston University.
