Today we\u2019re excited to open applications for two fellowship programs for emerging and diverse talent to attend the conference: the<a href=\"https:\/\/journalists.org\/programs\/mj-bear-fellowship\/\"> MJ Bear Fellowship<\/a> and the<a href=\"https:\/\/journalists.org\/programs\/fellowships\/cnn-diversity-fellowship\/\"> CNN Diversity Fellowship<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are due June 28, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.<\/p>\n<h4>2018 MJ Bear Fellowship<\/h4>\n<p>Now in its eighth year, the MJ Bear Fellowship honors three rising stars in digital journalism \u2014 two fellows from the United States or Canada and one fellow from any other country. We\u2019re looking for working journalists under 30 who are driving innovation in the industry. Fellows receive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration, travel and accommodations for ONA18 and the Online Journalism Awards Ceremony, Sept. 13-15 in Austin<\/li>\n<li>Recognition and speaking opportunity at ONA18<\/li>\n<li>Three online coaching sessions<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/journalists.org\/about\/member-benefits\/\">ONA membership<\/a>, with three years\u2019 dues paid in full<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/journalists.org\/programs\/mj-bear-fellowship\/apply\/\">Apply for MJ Bear Fellowship<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>CNN Diversity Fellowship<\/h4>\n<p>The CNN Diversity Fellowship is open to journalists from diverse backgrounds \u2014 including of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender \u2014 with experience reporting for mobile and social platforms. Selected fellows receive an all-expenses-paid trip to ONA18.
